REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

--Valid health registration.
--Food handler certificate for all staff working in the vehicle.
--Valid public liability insurance.
--Street vending licence or permit where required.
--Compliance with applicable tax obligations (IGIC in the Canary Islands).

--Valid roadworthiness test (ITV).
--Visible commercial signage.
--Approximate maximum dimensions: 8 m long x 3 m wide x 4 m high (the organisers may adjust these depending on the space available at each edition).
--Smoke extraction system.

--Service hours must match the event's opening hours.
--Keep the assigned area clean during and after service.
--Waste management in line with applicable municipal regulations.
--Noise and emissions control.

--The participation fee may vary from edition to edition. If it is not shown in the application form, it will be communicated after selection.
--Payment is made by bank transfer once the application has been accepted; your place is confirmed when payment is received.
--The festival provides a pitch, a basic electrical connection and access to water, unless otherwise stated for a specific edition.

--The organisers will inform selected participants of the set-up, service and dismantling times for each edition.
--The established schedule must be respected.
--Dismantling or removing the vehicle before the event closes is not allowed.

--Unless the organisers announce different terms for a specific edition: cancellations made more than 30 days before the start of the event receive an 80% refund; cancellations made less than 30 days before receive no refund.
--The organisers may cancel the event due to force majeure; in that case, the full amount paid will be refunded.
--Failing to show up without prior notice may result in a penalty in future editions.

How much does it cost to participate with a food truck?

The participation fee is communicated individually after selection. It includes the allocated space, basic electricity connection, and water access.

Can I sell any type of food?

We value gastronomic variety. Once we receive your application, we will evaluate that your offer complements the other participants to provide the greatest diversity possible.

What documentation do I need to submit?

Valid Health Registration, Food Handler Certificate, Liability Insurance, and street trading license. You can submit them once your selection is confirmed.
